Head of Delivery (Streetworks)

The Role
You will be supporting the business on its continued growth, working directly with customers and supporting the Gas Transition & Futures team. The role will see you lead on the deployment of Streetworks Transformation and Managed Services to both current and new clients. Co-ordinating delivery across multiple clients and business areas through the development and assurance of the plan, management of risk and ensuring strong stakeholder engagement. In this role you will work alongside our product development and delivery teams ensuring the end solution meets clients’ requirements and expectations and will then be accountable for successful embedment with the client to enable achievement of outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Guiding mind for Streetworks transformation solutions.
- Lead the delivery of Streetworks deployments across various clients providing advice and support to the Skewb team and the client to help them meet their business objectives.
- Deliver a change plan to embed any new systems and ways of working.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding ongoing deployment delivery, issues, and service updates.
- If relevant, manage a team of Streetworks experts either from the client or Skewb.
- Work alongside the Product Development Team to collect requirements, user stories, develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and deliver UAT, ensuring all client needs are met through the deployed product.
- Work closely with delivery and product teams, developers, architects, QA, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure smooth handovers.
- Work alongside the subject matter experts to support the development of solutions to client needs across the industry, including new products and services.
- Identify service improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in delivering change management projects and navigating complex business environments to support smooth cross-team transitions.
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and coordinating stakeholders to achieve shared goals efficiently.
- Background in customer-facing roles, with a focus on service delivery, client interaction, and resolving challenges with a customer-first mindset.
- Experience of leading in Streetworks roles.
- Exposure to the utilities or infrastructure sector, including customer management, street works, works management, control room operations, or connections (desirable)
- Understanding of regulatory and operational challenges in utility networks, with experience in digital transformation initiatives in these contexts (desirable)
