The Skewb Futures programme has been nothing short of a launchpad for my career in the utilities sector - an industry I never imagined entering without prior experience. What makes it so unique is the breadth of exposure: from gas and water to digital products, branding, marketing, transformation services and managed services, I’ve had the chance to work across a range of sectors and gain a truly 360-degree view of how the industry operates. One of the most impactful parts of the journey has been the Mentorship. The support from industry leaders has been genuine, ongoing and incredibly meaningful helping me grow not just professionally but personally too. Whether it’s technical development to leadership confidence - the mentors at Skewb make all the difference. Thanks to Skewb Futures for building the perfect foundation for what I know will be an incredibly rewarding career in an industry I'm now deeply passionate about.
