Business Analyst

The Role
You will be supporting the business on its continued growth, working directly with customers and supporting the Gas Transition & Futures team. The role will see you working collaboratively with clients to understand current processes and systems. The role will require deep knowledge of techniques to analyse processes, translation of ways of working, ability to spot optimisation opportunities and provide transformation support. You will ensure proactive and efficient management and delivery along with customer communications throughout the transformation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Map current client processes and develop To Be processes and accountabilities, including the integration of products.
- Deliver a change plan to embed new systems and processes, including delivery of training and post-implementation support, to ensure client’s outcomes are achieved.
- Work alongside the Product Development Team to collect requirements, user stories, develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and deliver UAT, ensuring all client needs are met through the deployed product.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding ongoing progress updates.
- Work closely with Skewb and client teams, developers, architects, QA, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure smooth handovers.
- Work alongside the product team and subject matter experts to support the development of solutions to client needs across the industry, including new products and services.
- Undertake data analysis – drawing out key relevant insights.
- Preparation of client presentations.
- Provide regular performance, incident, and trend reporting to internal stakeholders and clients.

Skills and Experience
- Advanced skills in process mapping and analysis, including identifying opportunities for process improvement and the integration of digital solutions.
- Proven experience supporting change management initiatives, with an ability to manage complex business transformation projects.
- Strong proficiency in digital tools and platforms, with a track record of using technology to enable and enhance business processes.
- Experience working in digital product deployment and transformation (desirable)
- Experience in the utilities or infrastructure sector (desirable)
Understanding of regulatory and operational challenges in utility networks (desirable)
